Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to contribute across plumbing system design, Revit modelling, and project coordination within a collaborative, BIM-centered team. You will work on developing detailed plumbing designs and equipment selections while coordinating across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of plumbing design experience, with strong knowledge of codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of plumbing design experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop plumbing system designs, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Build and coordinate plumbing BIM models within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Set up and manage Revit MEP projects using company standards and templates.
• Create and maintain Revit MEP families.
• Manage project files, model coordination, updates, and version control.
• Research code compliance requirements and applicable design standards.
• Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams and external consultants.
• Prepare reports and support project documentation as required.
