Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned MEP/Plumbing Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ to design and implement innovative plumbing systems for active construction projects. You will leverage Revit to develop detailed drawings and work with a cross-disciplinary team to integrate plumbing into overall plans.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of plumbing experience, strong code knowledge, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing design and construction.
Proven expertise in Revit, Domestic Cold Water, Sanitary Waste & Vent, Roof Drainage, Compressed Air, and Vacuum Systems.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and oversee the installation of plumbing systems for multiple construction projects.
Create detailed technical drawings and plans using Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to integrate plumbing designs into project plans.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation of plumbing systems.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve processes.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
