Job summary

Stantec’s Northeast practice is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our Buildings team. You will design a broad range of plumbing systems from concept through construction documents, collaborating with the MEP group to meet project goals.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. A degree in Drafting/Design and a minimum of 5 years' plumbing experience are necessary; CPD is preferred. This role offers a collaborative, design-led environment with strong pay transparency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Drafting/Design from an accredited college or technical school.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience designing plumbing systems is required.
• Certified Plumbing Design (CPD) credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the design team from conceptual design through construction documents on the design of plumbing systems.
• Design, size, select, schedule, and specify plumbing system components and equipment.
• Develop conceptual design options and produce final construction documents.
• Produce plumbing design documents using Revit, including calculations and specifications.
• Communicate with clients, project managers and team members and manage deadlines.
