Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our Northeast MEP team. You will design a broad range of plumbing systems from concept through construction documents, using Revit and AutoCAD, and collaborate with project teams and clients.

The role requires a degree in Drafting/Design, minimum five years in plumbing design, and CPD as a preferred credential. Strong writing, organization, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Drafting/Design from an accredited college or technical school.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience designing plumbing systems.
• Certified Plumbing Design (CPD) credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Develop conceptual design options and produce final construction documents.
• Produce plumbing design documents in Revit and AutoCAD with calculations and specifications.
• Organize project requirements with minimal direction and manage deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company standards; review submittals and RFIs.
• Perform site observations to verify that plumbing systems meet design intent.
