Job summary
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA support for plumbing systems on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX.
The role requires reviewing plumbing installations for IPC/UFC compliance, conducting inspections, testing, and delivering technical recommendations during construction, in collaboration with project managers, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid plumbing license and extensive knowledge of plumbing codes.
- Ten years minimum experience in plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight.
- Experience with IPC, UFC, and federal project standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect plumbing systems on federal construction projects and ensure code compliance.
- Review submittals and provide comments to achieve documentation adequacy.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with PMs, engineers, contractors, and government representatives.
