Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Lead PLM & Configuration Engineer in New York to drive disciplined configuration control across CAD models, BOMs, and documentation within the PLM system. You will own revision management, baselining, and release readiness to ensure data integrity and traceability throughout product lifecycles.

The role requires coordinating ECR/ECN workflows, aligning mechanical and electrical artifacts, and guiding cross-functional teams in Agile environments to accelerate engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years in PLM/configuration in complex environments.
• Deep understanding of PLM systems and release workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end configuration control for CAD models, BOMs, and docs in the PLM system.
• Manage ECR/ECN workflows and traceable changes.
• Coordinate release activities across mechanical, electrical, manufacturing and quality.
• Lead release readiness reviews and cross-functional sessions.
