Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician-PLC to ensure equipment uptime through electrical troubleshooting of 480VAC and 24VDC components. You will work with AB, B&R, Siemens, and Zenon, acting as an SME on plant systems, data collection, and backups.

Lead training and improvements across bottling lines, including blow molding, filling, labeling, and packaging processes. Responsibilities include safety leadership, cross-functional problem solving, and developing SOPs for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in an electrical maintenance environment.
• 6 years experience in a similar position.
• 4 years experience managing people or projects.
• Able to read electrical schematics and instrumentation diagrams.
• Familiar with RSLogix 5000, SIMATIC Step 7 and Factory Talk Studio.
• Experience with troubleshooting AB, B&R, Siemens systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Own toolbox and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and GMP standards plant-wide.
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures.
• Develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement and upgrades.
• Identify machine problems quickly to minimize downtime; perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Utilize software to analyze issues and drive throughput.
• Oversee overhaul of equipment during planned downtime.
• Create procedures for operating and troubleshooting bottling equipment, injectors, and related systems.
