Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician – PLC to maximize equipment uptime across high-speed bottling lines. You will troubleshoot 480VAC & 24VDC systems, work with AB, B&R, Siemens, and Zenon, and mentor team members in electrical and mechanical practices.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, proactive maintenance, and documenting procedures to support plant reliability and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 Years – Experience in an electrical maintenance environment.
• 6 Years – Experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects (education can supplement).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/instrumentation diagrams.
• Experience with RSLogix 5000, SIMATIC Step 7, and Factory Talk Studio.
• Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, PLC I/O, safety relays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to high safety and GMP standards plant-wide.
• Train and lead operators and supervisors on technical procedures.
• Lead projects involving continuous improvement and upgrades.
• Identify machine problems quickly and perform root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with other senior technicians to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Use software systems to analyze issues and drive throughput.
• Lead overhaul efforts during planned downtime to rebuild equipment.
• Develop procedures for bottling production areas and transfer knowledge to team.
