Job summary

CandidTalent is seeking a Controls Technician III with PLC and Ignition expertise for an on-site role in eastern Oregon. You will commission, start up and troubleshoot live control systems, while traveling regionally across the Pacific Northwest to support data center projects and service work.

You will become the local technical authority on site, owning calls and reducing fly-in support, with opportunities for Ignition certification sponsorship and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Around five years of hands-on controls field experience with independent commissioning.
• Strong PLC experience and Ignition environments.
• Experience in industrial automation or building controls welcomed.
• Ignition Core certification is a strong advantage and sponsorable if not held yet.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with PLC systems and Ignition environments, commissioning, starting up and troubleshooting live systems on site.
• Field work with regional travel across the Pacific Northwest.
• Become the local technical authority on site and own the project without needing flying engineers.
