Job summary

Vantage Consulting seeks an experienced Senior Project Integrator to join its growing controls and automation team in Redmond, WA. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work while providing project oversight and guidance to other engineers and integrators.

You will focus on PLC, HMI/SCADA, and industrial systems integration across the full project lifecycle, from design and programming through FAT and commissioning. Occasional travel may be required, and Ignition certification is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in controls and automation.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial systems integration.
• Design and commissioning of electrical control circuits and schematics.
• Experience delivering FAT and site installations.
• Strong customer-facing and project oversight abilities.

I’m looking for an experienced Senior Project Integrator to join a growing controls and automation team in Redmond, Washington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior controls professional who wants to remain hands-on technically, while taking greater ownership of projects and providing technical oversight to other engineers and integrators.

The role will focus heavily on PLC, HMI/SCADA and industrial systems integration, covering the full project lifecycle from design and programming through FAT and commissioning.

What you’ll be doing

• PLC logic design and programming using IEC-61131 languages
• HMI/SCADA design and programming
• Electrical control circuit and schematic design
• Industrial systems integration across serial and Ethernet protocols
• Installation, commissioning and site investigations
• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Reviewing plans, specifications and technical requirements
• Providing technical oversight to smaller integration teams
• Working directly with customers and engineering teams to deliver controls projects

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have 5+ years of hands-on experience across:

• PLC programming
• Industrial systems integration
• Electrical controls/schematic design
• Commissioning and field project delivery

Ignition certification is required before starting, making strong hands-on experience with the Ignition SCADA platform particularly important.
