Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is actively seeking a PLC Programmer for our Holt, MI area partner companies. You will lead PLC/HMI projects, troubleshoot control systems, and collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturing equipment performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years PLC programming experience in manufacturing, strong ladder logic and HMI skills, and solid knowledge of networking protocols. On-site role with competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years experience programming PLCs in manufacturing environments (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi).
Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming.
Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Develop and program PLC and HMI systems for new and existing equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues on production lines.
Design control system architecture including hardware selection and network config.
Collaborate with engineering and production to define requirements and optimize performance.
Perform software/hardware upgrades, backups, and documentation.
Test, commission, and validate new/modified control systems.
Provide technical training to maintenance on PLC and control systems.
