Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is actively seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join a network of manufacturers in the Mattawan, MI area. You will develop and optimize PLC programs for automated production lines, troubleshoot control systems, and integrate HMI applications for operators.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PLC experience (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi), strong ladder logic skills, and familiarity with Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience programming PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience with HMI/SCADA system development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Experience with robotic integration and vision systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define control system requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of control system components.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and system configurations.
