The Pivot Group Network is actively sourcing PLC Programmers for Byron Center, MI. We connect manufacturers with professionals who excel in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and control systems integration.

This role focuses on developing and maintaining automated manufacturing PLCs in West Michigan. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in EE/CS with 3+ years of PLC experience in manufacturing, and are proficient in Rockwell and Siemens platforms, with strong ladder logic skills and understanding of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of PLC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming languages.
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
Ability to read electrical schematics and PIDs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interfaces.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of control system components.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and control systems.
