The primary responsibilities for the Platform Architect will include but are not limited to:

• Developing and driving end-to-end platform architecture by owning the architectural specification of the platform or board.
• Translating requirements, key performance, and key experience indicators into platform architecture encompassing hardware, software, SoCs, and other components designed to support a variety of systems, solutions, and applications.
• Driving technical readiness of prototype platform design, creating design specifications, developing block diagrams and high-level designs, and specifying key components to meet platform requirements including mechanical and thermal architecture.
• Inventing, conceptualizing, and specifying architectural features for next-generation platforms and making product technology and platform tradeoff decisions to ensure conformance to standards, specifications, and landing zones.
• Providing experimental and proof-of-concept solutions for proposing design alternatives that meet performance, power, area, and timing constraints.
• Reviewing, challenging, and influencing cross-functional roadmaps and technology targets.
• Collaborating with other architects, design engineers, and validation engineers to improve overall platform design and overcome constraints.
• Working with the foundry is critical for success in this role.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 5+ years of experience at a leading-edge foundry or as part of the process technology team at a leading IDM company, or managing technology platforms at leading fabless companies.
• 3+ years of experience in advanced GAA or FinFET technologies (7nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm) in the foundry space or technology platforms management at a fabless company.
• 2+ years of experience in DRM/DRC, PDK, design/layout, or simulation in advanced technology nodes.
• Experience with PPA or DTCO analysis across libraries, memory compilers, and competitive benchmarking for advanced nodes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience with the foundry's advanced technology competitive landscape.
• Experience in Logic Technology development and collaboration with foundries is a plus.
• Knowledge of process, integration, 3DIC, and product application requirements.

Salary Range: $161,230.00 - $227,620.00, dependent on location and experience.
