Job summary

Hinge Health is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital health platform. You will own SLOs, drive IaC adoption, and lead incident response across cross-functional teams in a hybrid SF work model.

You’ll mentor engineers, build self-service tooling, and partner with security on safe launches while delivering high-availability platforms for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or related roles, including production on-call.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity with logging and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Own and lead projects in domain: turn ambiguous goals into sequenced plans and set up production success with SLOs and on-call readiness.
• Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using IaC and config management patterns.
• Build self-service tooling and standardized workflows for deployment, monitoring and infrastructure management.
• Lead incident response and participate in on-call rotation; drive post-incident reviews and RCAs.
• Define SLOs, track reliability metrics, and inform capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and security on CI/CD, observability and safe launches; influence architecture.
• Evaluate tools to improve reliability and developer productivity; mentor engineers.
