Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an experienced engineer to support AES product family infrastructure and systems integration. You will troubleshoot, design, implement, test and document solutions for mission-critical surveillance and targeting systems.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of engineering experience, CompTIA Security+, and strong Linux/DevSecOps skills across RHEL, scripting, IaC and container platforms. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7.x/8.x) including installation, patching and security.
• Experience scripting with Bash and Python.
• Experience with Linux virtualization (KVM) and Linux networking.
• Experience with Git, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jira, and CI/CD tools.
• IaC and containerization with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize infrastructure operations for AES Product Family.
• Analyze requirements for computer, server, network and telecom systems.
• Design and support systems integration for advanced surveillance/targeting systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet security controls.
• Work with software/systems engineers to ensure deployment compliance.
• onsite in McKinney, TX; relocation may be required.
