Job summary

RTX BBN Technologies seeks engineers and scientists to develop next-generation networking, cyber, and EW capabilities in a hybrid role based at our Cambridge, MA headquarters.

Qualified candidates will have a STEM degree with years of experience in C/C++ and Python, plus familiarity with distributed systems, REST/RPC, and Kafka-like message buses. A DoD Secret clearance is required to access program information.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with minimum 5 years of experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Experience programming in C/C++ and Python with modern Python service development and distributed systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation networking, cyber, and EW capabilities.
• Create or investigate new cyber-physical systems and integrate with prototype hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to solve problems and deliver results.
• Operationalize software with extensive testing, documentation, and system integration.
• Participate in lab and field tests to collect data and demonstrate capabilities.
• Overnight travel may be required for certain projects.
