Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer for DoD programs. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and supports test and evaluation across instruments and systems.

You will create and decompose requirements, define interfaces, conduct verification and validation testing, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders, while collaborating with management, vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
• Experience in systems engineering lifecycle, ConOps, and interface control.

Responsibilities

• Create and decompose requirements; define system interfaces and validation/verification methods.
• Support system performance analysis, integration, and testing.
• Conduct tests on optical and electrical components; collect data and analyze results.
