Job summary

Docplanner is hiring a Platform Security Engineer to join our Internal Platform team. You will help secure our scalable, self-managed infrastructure across regions, including Kubernetes, vaults, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Global Security, PMS teams, and other engineering groups to embed security into every lifecycle stage. You’ll work in a remote-friendly setup with flexible hours, supporting security policy, threat modeling, and scalable solutions to protect

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience related with security.
• Experience with Kubernetes and securing them (must-have).
• Policy for security-focused CNI/Service Mesh (Calico, Cilium).
• Vulnerability scanning at scale.
• Experience with Hashicorp Vault.
• Knowledge of Terraform and popular CI/CD tools.
• Building scalable and secure production HA environments using AWS.
• Networking security services (AWS WAF/Cloudflare).
• Scripting in Bash or Go to automate tasks.
• English (min. B2) and ability to align security with teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform security and compliance (ISO27001, C5, SOC2).
• Integrate security into the platform lifecycle across teams.
• Proactively identify and mitigate security threats.
• Improve system scalability and cost efficiency.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across continents.
• CI/CD development and maintenance.
• Ensure high availability of all services.
• Fix urgent issues and optimize performance.
• Support other team members in daily work.
• Collaborate with Global Security and PMS teams.
