The candidate will mentor engineers, drive secure-by-default capabilities, and partner with product, platform, and security teams to improve risk posture and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security/platform engineering or related field.
• Experience owning major technical initiatives involving secure platform design or workflow transformation.
• Strong standards and pattern development experience across teams.
• Ability to influence engineering decisions cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex platform security engineering initiatives across systems and domains.
• Defines secure target states, reference architectures, and design patterns for platforms.
• Embeds security requirements into CI/CD, deployment models, and runtime operations.
• Mentors engineers and elevates secure engineering practices.
• Translates policy and control expectations into practical engineering guidance.
• Leads evaluation of new platform security technologies and automation opportunities.
