Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a Principal Platform Security Engineer to shape the enterprise security architecture and lead secure-by-default patterns across products and platforms.

You will partner with senior leaders to define target states, standards, and guardrails while mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.

Hybrid roles in major hubs, with compensation reflecting market rates and incentives; you will drive durable, scalable security solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, software, and security engineering.
• Experience owning technical direction for enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse teams.
• Experience defining target states, standards, design patterns, or reference architectures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns enterprise technical vision for platform security engineering across shared services, internal platforms, and engineering workflows.
• Defines and drives secure target states, enterprise-scale design patterns, engineering standards, and control strategies.
• Shapes long-range technical direction for secure-by-default platform capabilities, balancing risk reduction, scalability, resilience, and developer experience.
• Leads complex security engineering decisions involving platform security, shared services, lifecycle controls, and systemic risk reduction.
• Partners with senior engineering, infrastructure, product, and security leaders to align long-term roadmaps, investment priorities, and enterprise design direction.
• Establishes reusable frameworks, reference implementations, technical guardrails, and scalable automation adopted broadly.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and operating models to guide enterprise security engineering strategy.
• Resolves ambiguous, cross-domain challenges with clear risk and implementation recommendations.
• Influences enterprise standards and large-scale engineering decisions across teams.
• Mentors senior engineers and serves as a technical authority.
• Supports risk management and protection of systems and data.
