Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to drive large-scale, resilient production systems within the CORE technology division in Illinois. Qualifications

Proven ability to drive IaC/CI/CD practices and platform tooling across large teams.

Responsibilities

Drive architectural vision for resilient, large-scale production systems.
Lead strategic automation to reduce toil and improve platform efficiency.
Own crisis management and root-cause analyses to prevent outages.
Define and govern secure, multi-cloud IaC strategy and maturity.
Establish organization-wide SLOs and reliability metrics.
Mentor SRE teams and scale practices across engineering groups.
Lead capacity forecasting, cost optimization, and FinOps for core infra.
