Job summary

Capital Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer Lead to shape the design, automation, and reliability of our cloud platforms supporting federal systems. You will define infrastructure-as-code standards, build scalable pipelines, and lead incident response and postmortems to improve resilience.

You will mentor engineers, drive platform decisions, and partner with development, security, and product teams to deliver secure, production-ready solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 9+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure, including leadership.
• Experience with governance processes and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, build, and evolution of secure, scalable cloud platforms for federal systems.
• Own infrastructure-as-code standards and Terraform implementations.
• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe delivery.
• Define reliability practices: SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, alerting, observability.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
