Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Platform Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems. You will bridge development and operations, applying software engineering principles to infrastructure problems and driving reliability through automation and robust tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on Linux expertise at scale, including networking and troubleshooting.
• Production experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
• Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and error budgets.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, instrument, and refine SLOs/SLIs and error budgets for critical services.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to drive improvements.
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Datadog.
• Build on-call processes, runbooks, and escalation paths.
• Automate operations with production-grade tooling in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Architect and operate large-scale Kubernetes clusters and container workloads.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications with automated testing and canaries.
• Lead capacity planning and performance engineering with load testing and chaos experiments.
• Collaborate with app teams to embed reliability early in design.
• Advance security posture with patch management and secure defaults.
• Contribute to reliability tooling roadmaps and developer experience improvements.
• Mentor engineers in SRE practices and promote blameless culture.
