Nordstrom is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Seattle to drive delivery of platform objectives and support major business initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable systems and foster operational excellence.

The role requires a strong PM background, business acumen, and a drive for continuous process improvement. You will advocate for efficient, scalable solutions and lead high-impact engineering efforts.

Qualifications

5+ years of program management in a technology environment.
Progressive track record delivering complex technology systems or services.
Bachelor's in computer science/engineering or equivalent education and experience.
Effective written and oral communication with all levels of business and technical leadership.
Thorough understanding of software engineering processes.

Responsibilities

In an agile environment, drive the entire program lifecycle: requirements definition through specification, design, QA, implementation, integration, launch, and support.
Synthesize requirements, recommend alternatives, and lead engineering efforts to meet timelines, driving scope, schedule and deployment.
Break down work into logical function groupings to enable early and frequent delivery.
Set clear delivery commitments, manage customer expectations, and prioritize work to maximize value.
Balance security and business needs with team or technology constraints while addressing bottlenecks.
