Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional platform initiatives that strengthen our infrastructure and improve delivery at scale. You will partner with engineering leaders to drive planning, risk management, and execution across multiple teams, ensuring alignment to strategic goals.

This role emphasizes strong technical judgment, clear communication to executives, and the ability to orchestrate complex programs without becoming an administrative taskmaster.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program management within software, infrastructure, or platform orgs.
• Proven track record leading large, ambiguous, multi-team programs with cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture, trade-offs, delivery risks, and plans.
• Demonstrated ability to structure programs, drive decisions, and solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and improving governance and execution across teams.
• Outcome-focused bias for action, not just Jira hygiene, with ability to unblock delivery.
• Executive communication skills to synthesize technical details into clear summaries.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational priorities into executable program roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end execution of cross-functional technical programs across Platform Services Engineering.
• Drive alignment across engineering and partner teams by managing goals, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks.
• Build scalable program mechanisms, including roadmap reviews, status reporting, and escalation paths.
• Identify systemic issues and lead teams toward practical, durable solutions that support objectives.
• Mentor others in program management and elevate execution standards across the org.
• Drive monthly/quarterly business reviews, executive reporting, and cross-organizational communications.
