Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join the Platform Services Organization and drive high-impact cross-functional programs that strengthen platform foundations and enable engineering teams to scale. You will report to the VP of Platform Services Engineering and coordinate with multiple product and engineering teams to align roadmaps with strategic outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical judgment, structured program leadership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical program management within software/platform teams.
• Ability to lead large, ambiguous, multi-team programs with cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering leadership on architecture and delivery.
• Structured program management, decision-making, and problem solving in fast-paced environments.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and improving governance across teams.
• Bias for action with data-driven, outcome-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Translate priorities into executable program roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end execution of cross-functional technical programs across Platform Services.
• Manage milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks with clear operating rhythms.
• Develop scalable program mechanisms, governance, and reporting.
• Identify and close execution gaps with practical, durable solutions.
• Influence stakeholders to move strategic initiatives forward.
• Mentor teams and elevate execution standards across the engineering org.
• Prepare executive-facing reviews and cross-organizational communications.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to map product roadmaps into programs.
• Implement dynamic tracking frameworks to flag delivery risks early.
