Job summary

Astronomer seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead the platform team for Astro, the flagship data orchestration product. This role defines the strategic direction and develops the management layer and control infrastructure across a multi-cloud SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and customers at large enterprises to translate complex data problems into a compelling roadmap with strong execution.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years of SaaS/PaaS product management experience.
• Technical focus with ability to work with engineering partners.
• Ability to translate customer needs into a data-driven roadmap.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform team (Astro).
• Engage with strategic customers, sales, and R&D to gather use cases and refine the roadmap.
• Develop detailed use-cases and product requirements with engineering through design, build, and release.
• Support product marketing and sales enablement with customer-focused messaging.
