Job summary

Astronomer is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the platform team for Astro, our flagship product. You’ll define strategy, engage with key customers and cross-functional teams, and translate insights into a measurable roadmap for the Management Layer and Control Infrastructure.

You will work in a hybrid model with at least 3 days in the office, collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer teams to deliver innovative data solutions for top enterprises.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years of SaaS/PaaS product management experience.
• Engages peers across R&D with engineering partners.
• Bias to action and delivery on the product vision.
• Experience with highly technical users while balancing a roadmap.
• Customer-facing and able to translate feedback into a data-driven roadmap.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform team.
• Engage with strategic customers and internal teams to inform the roadmap.
• Develop detailed use-cases with engineering through design, dev, release.
• Support product marketing and sales enablement with messaging.
