Job summary

Astronomer seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead the platform team for Astro, our flagship data orchestration product. You will set the vision, drive the roadmap, and partner with engineering, sales, and customers to translate complex data problems into scalable platform solutions.

Ideal candidates have 8–9 years in SaaS/PaaS product management, a technical mindset, and a proven ability to deliver a customer-focused roadmap. Bonus points for API, data-tool, and Apache Airflow familiarity.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years in SaaS/PaaS product management.
• Technical focus; engage as peer with engineering.
• Bias to action delivering on product vision for R&D teams.
• Experience with highly technical users and balancing roadmap.
• Customer-facing experience; synthesize data into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform team and Astro.
• Engage with strategic customers and teams to shape the roadmap.
• Develop use-cases and product requirements with engineering.
