Job summary

IDC seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Platform to shape core IDC Quanta platform capabilities behind IDC’s technology intelligence layer.

You will translate customer needs into scalable platform requirements, including reliability, usage analytics, secure access, and long-term extensibility. You will own discovery, definition, prioritization, and post-launch outcomes, partnering with engineering and TPMs to guide architecture and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical/quantitative field.
8+ years of product management experience, preferably platform/data/analytics.
Experience translating needs into clear platform requirements and backlog items.
Experience with SaaS platforms and collaborating with engineering on scalability, reliability, and data flows.
Experience using product usage/adoption metrics to guide decisions.
Strong cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design, data, research, and GTM teams.
Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with AI-enabled products, agentic workflows, or analytics platforms preferred.
High ownership and judgment; comfortable with ambiguity.
Travel: up to 10%. Remote work.

Responsibilities

Own discovery and definition for core IDC Quanta platform capabilities for scalability and reliability.
Translate needs into platform use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with TPMs and engineering to prioritize secure access and scalable usage.
Define and monitor usage, adoption, engagement, and capability performance metrics.
Align the platform backlog with quarterly priorities balancing value, dependencies, and extensibility.
Collaborate across design, data, research, and GTM to make platform capabilities understandable and commercially relevant.
Communicate roadmap context, tradeoffs, and progress to leadership and stakeholders.
