Job summary

IDC is seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Platform to shape the IDC Quanta platform, translating needs into scalable capabilities across reliability, analytics, and access experiences. You will own discovery, definition, prioritization, and post-launch outcomes with engineering partners.

You will define use cases, acceptance criteria, and track metrics for usage, adoption, and performance, while aligning backlog with quarterly priorities. Remote work is supported, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

8+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform, data, analytics, identity, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
Working knowledge of Software as a Service platforms and the ability to partner credibly with engineering on scalability, reliability, access, data flows, and technical tradeoffs.
Experience translating customer, user, and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
Experience defining, interpreting, and using product usage, adoption, engagement, or performance metrics to guide product decisions.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across product, engineering, design, data, research, and go-to-market teams.
Clear, structured written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with AI-enabled products, agentic workflows, research platforms, information services, data products, or analytics platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Own product discovery and definition for core platform capabilities ensuring scalability, reliability, secure access, and growth.
Translate user, customer, partner, and internal needs into clear platform use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with Technical Product Management and engineering to prioritize platform improvements for identity experiences, access patterns, and usage growth.
Define, monitor, and interpret product success metrics to guide iteration.
Align and sequence the platform backlog across quarterly priorities considering value, dependencies, and extensibility.
Collaborate with design, engineering, data, research, and GTM to make platform capabilities usable and commercially relevant.
Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
