Job summary

Sequencing Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager, AI Platform, to own the connected intelligence system powering its AI-powered products.

You will translate customer needs into platform capabilities across data, memory, integrations, retrieval, and agent orchestration. You will work with Engineering, Bioinformatics, Product, Design, and Customer Success to make the intelligence pipeline measurable, trustworthy, and ready for polished product experiences.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience with 2–3 years shipping production LLM or generative-AI products.
• Designed or shipped agentic systems with tool use, orchestration, memory, retrieval, prompts or skills, and evaluation loops.
• Able to explain architecture, evaluation, failure handling, and operating ownership of shipped AI systems.
• Experience with evaluation suites, human annotation, LLM-as-judge methods, or equivalent quality gates in production.
• Prototyping, reading traces, and collaborating with engineers on model, data, orchestration, and reliability tradeoffs.
• Translate ambiguous customer needs into clear interfaces, measurable requirements, and prioritized plans.
• Health-product trust, uncertainty, privacy, and human scientific review are priorities.
• Clear communication across Engineering, Bioinformatics, Product, Design, and Customer Success.
• Based in the United States and comfortable operating autonomously in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and PRDs for intelligence capabilities behind AI-powered member experiences.
• Define platform contracts across data inputs, processing, retrieval, and tool use.
• Create a rapid prototype-to-decision loop with explicit test criteria.
• Implement release-gate evaluation combining deterministic checks and LLM-based assessment.
• Oversee platform observability: trace quality, latency, cost, and failure classification.
• Drive cross-functional prioritization linking customer success signals to scalable intelligence.
• Handover platform capabilities to polished member and partner experiences.
• Pursue continuous improvement of reliability, efficiency, and developer usability.
