Job summary

IDC seeks a Sr. Product Manager, Platform to shape core IDC Quanta platform capabilities. You will translate stakeholder needs into scalable platform requirements, partnering with engineering to drive reliability, access experiences, and usage analytics.

You will define discovery, prioritization, and post-launch outcomes, using metrics to guide iterations and working across product, design, data, research, and GTM teams for market relevance and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
8+ years of product management experience, ideally with platform, data, analytics, identity, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
Experience translating needs into clear product requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
Experience with SaaS platforms and partnering with engineering on scalability, reliability, access, data flows, and tradeoffs.
Experience defining and using product usage metrics to guide decisions.
Strong cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, design, data, research, and go-to-market teams.
Clear written and verbal communication adaptable to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with AI-enabled products or analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own product discovery and definition for core platform capabilities that support scalability, reliability, secure access, usage visibility, and long-term growth.
Translate user, customer, partner, and internal needs into platform use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with technical PMs and engineering to prioritize improvements for identity experiences, secure access, and scalable usage growth.
Define, monitor, and interpret product success metrics to guide iteration.
Align and sequence the platform backlog across quarterly priorities balancing value and technical constraints.
Collaborate with design, data, research, and GTM teams to make capabilities understandable and commercially relevant.
Communicate roadmap context, tradeoffs, delivery progress, and post-launch outcomes to leadership.
