Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Alliances & Partnerships to lead end-to-end technology partnerships with high autonomy under the Director. The role focuses on flagship engagements, co-innovation, and executive-level strategy, coordinating across Platform, Product and Marketing to deliver joint programs.

You will build VP-quality narratives, mentor the Manager of Technology Partnerships, and represent the team at senior forums and industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience in technical partnerships, business strategy, or management consulting.
• 3+ years leading partnerships, especially SaaS & consumer hardware, with top tech firms and experience with AI/ML, Data, Visualization & Graphics, and Robotics.
• Experience working with hyperscalers.
• Experience in Enterprise Software, Cloud, Security, and related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead partnership programs end-to-end with high autonomy.
• Strong executive communication and deck-building skills.
• Self-directed and able to manage ambiguity and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own flagship partner strategy and end-to-end engagements; drive roadmap and outcomes across platforms and industry verticals.
• Lead co-innovation programs; assess partner-technology fit for partnerships.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across Platform, Product and Marketing.
• Develop engagement plans from concept to market, including GTM planning.
• Document scope, dependencies, risks; track milestones; report updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare strategic options and recommendations for Director/VP decisions.
• Identify and evaluate new partners; represent team at senior forums and conferences.
• Create VP-quality narratives and executive briefing materials.
• Provide informal leadership and guidance to junior team members.
