Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Software Engineer for Platform Observability to help rebuild and scale our observability stack. You will influence architecture, mentor teams, and drive telemetry initiatives across the platform org.

The role focuses on OpenTelemetry instrumentation, centralized data lakes via AWS, and cost-aware, scalable solutions across microservices. A remote-ready position with occasional in-person gatherings may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in building and scaling observability systems.
• Lead technical execution for major components of an observability overhaul.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (Go, Python, Java).
• Familiarity with high-cardinality data challenges and telemetry correlation.

Responsibilities
