Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Platform & Infrastructure Engineer for a Texas-based network of hospitals and residential treatment centers. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments to ensure HIPAA-compliant operations.

You will architect Azure hybrid cloud, manage IaC with Terraform, and oversee enterprise networking and Microsoft 365 services across multi-site facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Azure expertise: compute, networking, Entra ID, and security.
• IaC development with Terraform.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 in secure, compliant environments.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking: LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls.
• Experience implementing HIPAA security controls and infrastructure hardening.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and operate enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Architect and manage Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud environments, including compute, networking, identity, and security services.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for auditable provisioning.
• Architect, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise networking across facilities.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services with security configuration and retention policies.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and collaborate on identity governance and hardening.
• Deploy and manage the Microsoft Defender security stack across hybrid infrastructure.
