Job summary

GlobalHealth is seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager to design, maintain and implement our server and networking infrastructure within a healthcare environment. This role ensures availability and security of resources, impacting user desktop performance.

You will lead engineers and administrators, collaborate with IT security, plan capacity, manage budgets, and oversee vendor relationships. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in infrastructure are required, with Azure/AWS experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in infrastructure management.
• Experience with Windows VM, Hyper-V, Red Hat Linux and Cisco networking equipment.
• Preferred cloud experience in Azure and AWS.
• High level technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, Linux, VMware, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Architect the technology strategy from start to finish.
• Manage Engineers, Administrators and team members to project completion.
• Work with IT Security to prevent and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Provide operational support, system implementations, and monitoring.
• Design, configure, and support internal and external networks.
• Develop and maintain systems, security, and network configurations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and maintain disaster recovery plan.
• Evaluate hardware and OS configuration requirements.
• Recommend upgrades, patches, and new equipment; provide guidance.
• Oversee vendor management, budgeting, and procurement.
• Plan personnel recruitment and selection.
