Job summary

Menlo Security seeks a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS. You’ll use Terraform and Spaceless tooling to provision networks, compute, storage, and security, while building end-to-end observability with Grafana Cloud and OpenTelemetry collectors.

You'll collaborate across Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security to guide capacity planning, disaster recovery, and architecture decisions and participate in a 24x7

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash and Go.
• Kubernetes production experience and cluster admin skills.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and IaC workflows.
• GCP services including GKE, VPC, IAM and DNS.
• Experience with LLM-based code-assist tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS across multiple regions.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Spacelift.
• Develop observability using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors.
• Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, ingress, and service mesh networking.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security to align on capacity planning and DR.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and drive post-incident reviews.
