Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Project Manager III for Digital Platform Engineering in Vienna, VA, onsite three days a week. The role focuses on centralized coordination, prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and execution oversight to enable engineering leaders to focus on strategy and delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of PM/Program PM experience, familiarity with Agile/Scrum/SAFe, and knowledge of Azure Cloud and ServiceNow. Strong communication and governance skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project manager or program manager experience.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment with Scrum/SAFe.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support for Digital initiatives and external requests.
• Coordinate a portfolio of Platform Engineering initiatives including modernization and decommissioning.
• Partner with engineering, product, risk, compliance, and security stakeholders for alignment and timely execution.
• Lead planning, tracking, and coordination for decommissioning initiatives with risk and milestone tracking.
• Represent Platform Engineering in governance forums and security reviews.
• Facilitate prioritization across operations, strategy, compliance, and modernization initiatives.
• Maintain visibility into commitments, risks, dependencies, and prioritization.
• Drive meeting coordination, action items, decisions, and follow-ups for progress.
• Develop executive-ready status reports, dashboards, and briefings for leadership.
• Coordinate intake and tracking of ad hoc requests aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor initiative health, milestones, and deliverables for timely completion.
• Collaborate with vendors and partners to support platform initiatives.
• Support annual planning, roadmaps, and capacity planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance and operational effectiveness.
