Bizerba USA Inc is seeking a Software Project Manager to shape a growing software delivery organization in the Richmond area. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive Agile practices from discovery to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in software project management, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and a focus on continuous improvement and scalable processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing software development projects in an Agile environment.
• Proven experience developing software solution estimates, quotations, and implementation plans.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, backlog management, and release planning.
• Experience working directly with customers to define requirements, manage expectations, and deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, OpenProject, Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms.
• Ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints while driving project execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software projects from opportunity identification through deployment and customer acceptance.
• Develop solution estimates, project quotes, project scopes, and resource plans with engineering and product teams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, stakeholders, and development teams.
• Gather, document, prioritize, and manage business and technical requirements.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs and priorities.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones and commitments.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues as needed.
• Provide regular project status updates and manage customer communications.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management practices and Agile delivery processes.
• Support growth of software delivery by defining best practices and processes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help build and shape a growing software delivery organization. Reporting to the Head of Industrial Engineering, the Software Project Manager will play a key role in establishing processes, strengthening customer engagement, and developing a scalable project management function. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who enjoys creating structure, driving continuous improvement, and helping grow a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional customer solutions. Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Richmond, Virginia metro area. Position is onsite with potential for hybrid schedule after 6 months.

Your Tasks:
