CaptivateIQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Core Platform to lead a distributed engineering team responsible for identity, job processing, and design systems. You will set direction, align with product and design, and guide architecture across a multi-product platform that scales with the business.

You'll champion async collaboration across roughly 8 time zones, drive delivery excellence, and uphold CaptivateIQ's values while mentoring engineers from junior to staff levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers, remote-first preferred.
• 8+ years of full-time software development experience in product engineering.
• Proven track record of hiring and developing talent.
• Strong customer focus with delivering high-quality features across the lifecycle.
• Demonstrated technical depth and ability to guide senior engineers.
• Excellent communication in a remote-first environment.
• High ownership and growth mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Hire, inspire, and grow software engineers at every level.
• Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Support, and Sales to set vision and roadmaps.
• Own delivery and outcomes of your team's portfolio with reliability at scale.
• Provide architectural guardrails and guide major technical decisions.
• Manage processes to help engineers work efficiently and interface with the company.
• Lead by example and uphold Captivate's core values.
• Contribute to the broader engineering leadership team on org-wide initiatives.
