Job summary
CaptivateIQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Core Platform to lead engineering for key platform building blocks, including identity, job processing, and design systems.
You will guide a distributed team across multiple time zones, setting direction and prioritizing a complex portfolio to ship reliable, scalable features. You’ll partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Support, and Sales to align roadmaps with customer value, while maintaining high psychological safety and async-first
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing software engineers.
- 8+ years of full-time software development experience.
- Demonstrated track record of hiring and developing talent.
- Strong customer-focus with a track record of delivering high quality features.
- Demonstrated technical depth and ability to guide senior engineers.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills in a remote-first environment.
- High ownership and a growth mindset.
Responsibilities
- Hire, inspire, and grow software engineers at every level.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to set vision and roadmaps.
- Own delivery and outcomes of your team's portfolio at scale.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guardrails.
- Manage processes to help engineers work efficiently and interface with the company.
- Lead by example and uphold CaptivateIQ’s core values.
- Contribute to the broader engineering leadership team and org-wide initiatives.
