Job summary

Murmuration is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Platform Team, consisting of DevOps, App Security, SRE, and FinOps, building shared systems used by all engineering groups. You will mentor leaders, shape the engineering roadmap, and ensure high‑quality, secure, scalable operations.

You will collaborate across product, design, data, and partner success to drive reliability, cost visibility, and governance while maintaining a culture of inclusion and high performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software manager/engineering experience across infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• Experience building and leading cross‑functional platform teams.
• Proven ability to coach, grow leaders, and align multiple disciplines toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical strategy and the platform roadmap for DevOps, SRE, AppSec, and FinOps.
• Maintain debt paydown and update plans with clear tradeoffs.
• Deliver production‑ready platforms powering multiple teams.
• Strengthen security, data privacy, and access controls.
• Provide FinOps visibility for leadership and budgeting decisions.
• Architect scalable, maintainable systems for long‑term growth.
• Lead incident response and postmortems with cross‑team coordination.
