Job summary

Murmuration is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering to grow a multidisciplinary Platform Team (DevOps, App Security, SRE, FinOps) that builds and maintains shared systems used by all engineering groups. You will coach a small, cross-discipline team and own the build/deploy/run stack, enabling other teams to ship safely and quickly.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in software management with a track record of leading large-scale infrastructure, security, and cost optimization programs.

Responsibilities

• Shape technical strategy for the Platform Engineering team and align roadmaps across DevOps, App Security, SRE, and FinOps.
• Lead debt paydown and dependency updates to avoid last-minute fire drills.
• Deliver production-ready platforms with reliable, observable foundations for partner teams.
• Champion secure coding practices and data privacy as first-class concerns across the org.
• Provide FinOps visibility with clear cloud and infrastructure cost views for leadership.
