Job summary

Prolific is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Platform and SRE teams, shaping the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure. You will drive platform strategy, ownership of services like Kubernetes (GKE), and advocate for strong engineering practices across the organization.

You will balance platform stability with developer velocity, translate complex infrastructure decisions for stakeholders, and ensure security and compliance in our cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in infrastructure and SRE, scaling platforms and people.
• Deep technical credibility as a senior IC, then progressing to building high-performing teams.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and roadmaps for cloud platforms and developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and growth opportunities for Platform teams.
• Own availability and SRE practices, define SLOs/SLAs, error budgets, improve observability.
• Develop a developer-facing platform with self-service infra and tooling as a product.
• Define platform roadmap with adoption metrics; balance stability with velocity.
• Ensure cloud environments meet security/compliance standards (SOC2, ISO-27001).
