Job summary

FanDuel is seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Managers and Platform Engineers across multiple teams. You will shape roadmap, set priorities, and drive the Internal Developer Platform to improve developer productivity and security.

You will also mentor managers and engineers while aligning with Product, Security and leadership on strategic outcomes. Reporting to the Platform Engineering Director, you will influence architectural direction, scale platform

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience developing Engineering Managers and engineers, with coaching and career growth.
• Track record delivering platform capabilities or internal products at scale to improve productivity and reliability.
• Experience setting direction and translating strategy into execution for several teams.
• Experience shaping roadmaps with Product leadership and prioritizing investments.
• Understanding platform-as-a-product concepts and driving broad adoption across an org.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Managers and Platform Engineers across multiple teams, providing direction and alignment.
• Develop managers and engineers through regular coaching and career development.
• Translate Platform Engineering strategy into clear priorities and outcomes for teams.
• Shape roadmaps with Product to address internal customer needs and invest accordingly.
• Drive internal developer platform adoption with tooling, workflows and APIs.
• Foster self-service, automation and secure-by-default ways of working across platforms.
