Job summary

FanDuel is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable data infrastructure powering analytics, data science, and business use cases. You will architect data solutions with cloud-native tools across AWS, GCP, or Azure, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

You will mentor peers, drive engineering best practices, and contribute to the evolution of the data platform to be modular, reliable, and high-performing in a rapidly growing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience building scalable data systems.
• Experience with ML, analytics and AI use cases.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Define data modeling standards and orchestration with modern tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor peers.
• Evolve the data platform for modularity, interoperability and resilience.
