Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Engineering / DevOps to lead enterprise-scale cloud platforms. You will balance hands-on engineering with team leadership, guiding multiple workstreams to deliver secure, scalable platform solutions across the organization.

You will own the H100 platform roadmap, drive GCP-based capabilities (GKE, IAM, networking, CI/CD), enforce standards, manage incidents, mentor engineers, and partner with security, networks, and application teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 4+ years in team leadership (5-10 engineers).
• 3+ years with GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, KCC, Kustomize).
• 4+ years Agile/Scrum, incident management, cross-team coordination.
• 1+ years AI-driven operations or automation frameworks
• 3+ years cloud networking (VPCs, load balancing, security).
• 3+ years in production/on-call environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the H100 platform engineering roadmap.
• Drive delivery of GCP-based platform capabilities (GKE, networking, IAM, CI/CD, observability).
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and ADR compliance.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems.
• Mentor engineers and manage contractor teams.
