Job summary

Prudentia Sciences is seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to build and lead the platform engineering organization. You will own the architecture, set technical direction, and partner with AI/Product leaders to deliver trustworthy software for biopharma decision-makers.

You will mentor engineers, establish scalable processes, and ensure security and reliability as the team scales from startup to mature operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, AWS experience required.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams, startup/high-growth experience preferred.
• Experience owning architecture for complex, data-driven applications with APIs and ML backends.
• Strong frontend architecture and backend/API engineering skills, including modern web frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and grow the engineering team with a focus on craft and mentorship.
• Own platform architecture and end-to-end technical roadmap in collaboration with AI and Product leads.
• Maintain reliability, security, and scalable production systems on AWS; enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with Product and AI to translate scientific workflows into scalable software.
